Brantley Probable for the Georgia Game

For a team struggling to find some positive news, they may now have some for the upcoming rivalry game with Georgia. Senior starting quarterback John Brantley is listed as probable for the game Saturday after missing two and a half games due to injury. The Gators have scored just one touchdown in the ten quarters he has been absent.

Florida head coach Will Muschamp announced the news Monday at a press conference when he said that Brantley would be probable for the game. "He has worked extremely hard to get back for this week," Muschamp said.

Brantley was on track for his best game as a Gator when injured against Alabama and since then the offense has labored under two freshmen quarterbacks that have not been able to direct the team.

Muschamp is anticipating his team being really excited about the senior's return to action. "Getting him back will be a huge psychological shot for our football team, I really believe that", he said.

Muschamp said Brantley targeted this game for a return from the outset of his injury. We will have more on this and the rest of what Muschamp said about the big game, coming shortly.
