Gators Place Two on Coaches' All-SEC

The Gators put just two players on the Coaches' All-SEC Football team. Chris Rainey was named an all-purpose player on the first team, while Caleb Sturgis was named the first team kicker.

Chris Rainey and Arkansas' Joe Adams, who also made the first team as a return specialist, tied for the first team all-purpose player. Despite injury, Caleb Sturgis was named the kicker on the first team. Rainey and Sturgis were the only two Florida players to be named to the first or second team. Seven of the 12 SEC schools had a player on the first-team All-SEC.

Alabama led the way with 11 total members, while LSU had ten. The two schools each had six members on the first team, while Arkansas had five first-team members.

Arkansas totaled eight members on the list, while Georgia had seven players on both teams. Auburn had six, while Vanderbilt and South Carolina each had four.

South Carolina defensive end Jadevon Clowney and LSU punter Brad Wing were the only freshmen to be added to the list.

Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own players.
