Sources: Dillman as Strength Coach

Will Muschamp is trying to build a program in the way he wants it done and Florida's head coach has gone back to his coaching roots to find a strength and conditioning coach to match his intensity. Sources have told FightinGators.com that IMG Athletics Head of Physical Conditioning Jeff Dillman will replace Mickey Marotti as the strength and conditioning coordinator at Florida.

Jeff Dillman and Will Muschamp crossed paths at LSU back during the Tigers national championship run in 2003 and the following year in 2004 when Dillman was an assistant strength and conditioning coach under highly thought of LSU S&C Coach Tommy Moffit.

Muschamp is looking to add some beef and strength to the lines of scrimmage and the type of conditioned athletes that LSU put out then DE Marcus Spears, DL Chase Pittman, DT Chad Lavalais, DE Marquis Hill, DE Carnell Stewart, and many more are a few of the prominent names that were trained with the help of Dillman.

While at LSU he was also the lead strength coach for both men's and women's basketball programs and both made the Final Four during his watch.

Dillman later moved on to his Alma Mater Appalachian State where he was named the Director of Strength and Conditioning in 2006. ASU football has maybe the biggest surprise win in recent history when the Football Championship Subdivision team upset FBS #5 ranked Michigan and it occurred in the second year of Dillman's watch over their strength program. Dillman was a part of two national championship teams at Appalachian State.

In 2009 Dillman was signed with IMG Academics and stationed in Bradenton, Florida where he was named the Head of Physical Conditioning.
