"It wasn't perfect, but I feel that we did a pretty good job in blocking, especially with a bunch of position changes that weren't expected," Harrison said shortly after the 24-17 victory over the Buckeyes. "A lot of (the injuries and personnel moves) came from the Florida State game."
Harrison said it was brought to their attention before the game just how physical the Ohio State defense would be. He said they had their minds made up, despite the multiple changes up front, that they would disprove those that were saying it.
"We heard all that talk and heard a couple of Ohio State players directed it to the offensive line and we just took it as motivation to out physical our opponent," he said. "I feel like we showed our physicality and how physical we can be and that is part of the reason we came out successful. "
Harrison said they have been deflated for a better part of the season and finishing with a strong win is something the team really needed, especially heading into next season.
"Just because we were 6-6 it doesn't mean we don't have pride," he said. "We just wanted to show we aren't out of this and will come back with a vengeance next year."
He also intimated that it felt like they were having fun on the field for the first time in a long while.
"It's been a little while," he said. "We play a lot better when we are having fun in the game instead of everything overly serious."
