Brantley visited the Florida campus for junior day with his grandma, great aunt, and mom.
"It was great, I love that campus, I built relationships with the coaches and my family loves them too," he said.
"(We talked about) my playing time, whether or not I'm a red shirt, stuff like that."
Brantley plans to graduate and enroll early, so he is looking to make his choice of school sooner rather than later.
"Florida is my leader," he said. "I grew up around the Florida program, grew up a Gator fan, my family is all Gator fans, I just like how I feel with them at the campus."
6-foot-2, 216- pound Gainesville High School linebacker Keith Kelsey had a great time visiting the Florida campus. He and his father, Gator Great Keith Kelsey, are quite familiar with the Florida program and campus, but enjoyed getting to talk to the coaches and players there.
"They had a tour of the campus, then we went to the basketball game. It was nice, I talked to some of the players too, and I talked to the new strength and conditioning coach and they talked to my daddy and stuff," Kelsey said. "We talked about a whole bunch of stuff, how to treat your body, about offering too."
Kelsey has offers from South Florida and Marshall, but he hopes Florida isn't far behind.
"They said it's a good chance if I keep working I could be one of them," he said.
Kelsey also said he got to spend a little bit of time with another 2013 linebacker there, Tallahassee Lincoln's James Hearns.
