"I want to go visit all these schools, then I'll be able to find out who my tops schools are," Adams said.
The junior defensive tackle wants to get on campus of many of these schools to get a better feel for if he will fit in there. He likes Clemson early after visiting a few weeks ago.
"I liked it, I liked everything about Clemson," he said. "The coaches are nice, they have nice facilities, most of their players graduate, and they can get players to the NFL."
"Clemson's kind of standing out a little bit, but I'm going to keep looking at everyone else to see what they have to offer," he said.
Adams is also planning a trip to Florida at the end of February, he's looking forward to learning more about the program on that trip.
"I talk to (defensive line) Coach Bryant Young a lot," "(We talk about) education, and he played in the league so we talk about football a lot, what I would be playing, things like that," Adams said.
"I know their defense was highly ranked this year."
It's still early in the process for Adams and he wants to try to wait til signing day to make a final decision. A big factor in his decision will be the depth chart.
"I want early playing time, a good bond with the coaches, if I play there can I get to the NFL, things like that," he said.
Adams is keeping all options on the table for now, and plans to visit as many schools as he can to get a better feel for the programs.
