Yeguete Out Indefinitely After Broken Foot

The Florida basketball team poised to crack the top ten again will be a man short heading down the stretch. According to a report by team spokesman Denver Parler, forward Will Yeguete suffered a broken left foot in the game with Auburn and will be out indefinitely. It is a big loss for Florida that has a thin front court already.

Will Yeguete played 13 minutes and finished with two points an five rebounds in the 63-47 victory over Auburn Tuesday night. For Yeguete it is potentially his last playing time of the season.

Plagued with a couple of concussions during the season that had him missing a two games, Yeguete is a player that Florida needs to have better and more consistent play in the front court due to his ability to do all of the little things on the court.

The scrappy player is second on the team in rebounds with 103 on the year and is 4th on the team in steals.

Early word is that the gators would have to go pretty deep into the post season in order to have a chance at getting Yeguete before the end of the season.

Fightin' Gators will have more when we can get it.
