Tunsil Talks FSU Jr Day

Laremy Tunsil is one of the most sought after offensive tackles across the country in his class. The Columbia (Lake City FL) junior recently visited Florida State for their junior day and said he had a good time in Tallahassee.

Laremy Tunsil has offers from every major program. He says Florida and Georgia are leading the pack right now, but he also likes Alabama, LSU, and Michigan a lot. The 6-foot-6, 282-pound tackle said he saw a lot on campus at Florida State.

"I got to see some highlights, I got to see the players lounge, the locker room, the training room, the coaches office, I got to see the field," Tunsil said.

Tunsil says he doesn't talk to the coaching staff at Florida State too often, but he had some good conversations with them on his visit.

"Basically, they are saying the need o-lineman because they are short o-linemen," he said. "I have a good relationship with them."

"I like the program because my former teammate (FSU DT) Timmy Jernigan went there."

Tunsil still has Georgia and Florida at the top, but he said he was actually surprised by how comfortable he was in the atmosphere Florida State.

"I kinda liked it," "(It felt) a lot different, I didn't know I would feel comfortable there, but I guess I was wrong," he said.

"It's not as comfortable as Florida and Georgia are, I'm comfortable there, but I'm not like ‘Florida / Georgia comfortable.'"

Tunsil plans to visit Georgia for Junior Day on March 3rd.
