Outlaw Update

2013 offensive tackle Josh Outlaw has being doing quite a bit of traveling lately and next weekend he plans to head back down to the Gator Nation. The 6-foot-4, 280-pound junior from Lithonia, Georgia visited Florida a few weeks ago for a junior day and really enjoyed his time there.

"It was a great weekend, I got to see one of my former teammates, Mack Brown, and I got to speak with Coach Lewis, he's a great guy. We talked for some time about how I'm doing, how I've improved in my game, what he likes about me, and if I come to Florida how I'd fit in," Joshua Outlaw said.

He also had some time in Coach Muschamp's office talking about the depth chart and where he might fit in.

"It's definitely wide open down there, they said I could maybe come down there and start," Outlaw said.

"It's definitely a great program, the fans are crazy, the Gators go wild down there in the Swamp."

After seeing Florida, Outlaw visited Georgia and Clemson. He said visiting Athens was awesome, and Clemson was definitely a surprise. Most recently he took a trip to Auburn, which he said was alright, a little rural for his taste.

He's not planning on narrowing his list down anytime soon, but there are a few schools standing out at this point.

"I don't have any favorites, but I say I definitely like Clemson, Georgia, Florida, Arkansas, Tennessee, Virginia Tech," he said.

"(I want) to be comfortable, enjoy the coaching style, and early playing time."

Early enrollment is also not out of the question for Outlaw, but he's still figuring out exactly what he wants to do.
