Benjamin Enjoys Florida Practice

Tons of prospects were on campus for an open Florida practice Saturday, and wide receiver Richard Benjamin (Tampa, FL) was one of them. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound junior said he thought about committing to the Gators, but he decided to hold off for the time being.

Richard Benjamin said he re really liked the fast-paced, up-tempo style of the Florida practice.

"I really liked my visit, I really liked everything about it," he said.

"The thing I like about it is it's not hitting every day, it's a lot of learning and technique."

Benjamin also got to talk to Florida coaches Aubrey Hill and Derek Lewis. He says they gave him so good input on his game and things he should work on.

"(I'll be working on) technique and getting more vocal as a leader," he said.

Benjamin also plans to visit Gainesville for the Florida spring game and for camp on June 9th. He says the 9th will be a "big day," but "it's a surprise."
