Prospect: Nick Washington
Hometown: Jacksonville, Fla.
High School: Trinity Christian
Position: Safety
Size: 5-11/170
Scout Ranking: No. 16 Safety/No. 232 Overall in American
Recruiting Note: Washington had a long list of offers and he started being heavily recruited as a sophomore. In the end, he committed to Florida.

Scouting Report: Washington is a versatile defensive back that could play corner, but safety is where he is at his best. He knows how to put himself in position to make plays on the ball, he has great ball-skills, and he tracks the ball well. In coverage, he needs to work on his burst out of his breaks and his ability to recover quicker. He covers a lot of ground in the secondary, he is an instinctive player, and he will pick off a fair share of passes in the SEC. Against the run, he is a solid tackler, but he is best against the pass.
