Gators Looking at 2014 WR

Even though he is only a Sophomore wide receiver Jacob McCrary is attracting attention from some of the premier programs in the country. The 6'1 190-pound wide out checks in from Miami (FL) Coral Reef Senior High School. McCrary will be one of the most heavily recruited wide outs in the Southeast in the 2014 class.

The first thing you will notice about McCrary is his ability to run right past opposing defensive backs and can really go up and get the football. McCray is a player with the ability to play inside our outside at the next level. He is quick, fast and very aggressive when the ball is in the air. Jacob McCrary has a chance to become a fantastic wide receiver over the next two seasons and will be recruited by everyone moving forward.

"Right now I have offers from Clemson, Kansas State, Florida State, Marshall and Ole Miss. Florida and Miami are interested."

"Today I had a good game with five catches and two touchdowns'," Jacob McCrary said following today's scrimmage game. What kind of receiver does McCrary think he has become.

"I would say I am an aggressive wide receiver. I get into my routes very quick and have great ball skills. I can catch the ball at its highest point. Also I give it 100% every play."

McCrary told me that defensive backs coach Travaris Robinson was by the school earlier today.
