"We have a strong relationship and usually we just talk about what's going on," Fulwood said of Hill. "He understands especially in this time of year that I'm busy school wise, so he likes to check up on me."
He has had a busy camp schedule and then spring practice started. He's nursing a slight injury now and says he will be very limited with camps for the rest of the summer.
"I'll probably just ride with some teammates to some places but as of me competing in them, (that would) be a no, except Friday Night Lights."
Fulwood was the top target on the receiver board for Florida and now the coaches' anticipation in getting him to commit turns into his anticipation to start his Gator career.
"I can't wait for the atmosphere of The Swamp, my first game, and a night game," he said when asked what he was looking forward to. "I also really want to take part in the Florida –Georgia game and the actual college outside of football… when I'm in class or walking around enjoying the actual University of Florida."
One thing about Fulwood is that he wants his recruiting class and his time at Florida to be special. The first will help the second and that means he is keeping up with who is going where and trying to help land quality players in his class. When asked who he would like to end up in the class, he rattled off a few names.
"Choosing one is hard," he said. "So… Demarcus Walker, Alvin Bailey, Leon McQuay, Laremy Tunsil, and Marcell Harris. Demarcus is one we are trying to get to. Laremy Tunsil told me Florida was in his top 5 and Alvin Bailey also told me he liked Florida."
An impressive list from someone so highly thought of. But, he just wants to stay on top of the game.
