For Booth, the fact that Ole Miss is a member of a prestigious conference is enticing.
"I know Ole Miss is in the SEC and that's my favorite conference," he said.
At this point, Booth has already heard from multiple SEC schools.
"I've heard from Tennessee. Missouri and Kentucky have already offered from the SEC. Tennessee hasn't offered. I have just been talking to them and I think they might offer Friday when I go down there," he said.
As his visit to Tennessee approaches, the 6-foot-1, 190-pound receiver is looking forward to bonding with some of the coaches.
"I'm really excited about talking to their receiver coach [Darin Hinshaw] when I visit," he said.
Another Southeastern Conference school that Booth has heard from in the past is Florida. As a child, Booth recalls cheering for the Gators on multiple occasions. According to Booth, Florida is not contacting him on a regular basis.
"I haven't really heard from Florida recently," he said.
In addition to the attention he has gained from SEC schools, the young receiver has received offers from Cincinnati, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Iowa State, Michigan State, Purdue, and Wisconsin. So far, Booth has been trying to keep an open mind about each of the schools that are expressing interest.
"Everyone is the same right now. I'm just waiting to see who wins next season and all of the coaching changes since I have a lot of time," he said.
In the near future, Booth will visit numerous college campuses. These visits will be a wonderful learning opportunity for the skillful receiver.
"I'm planning on going to Purdue and Wisconsin but I don't have a for sure date on those visits. I also know I will be at Ohio State's camp on June 22nd," he said.
