Camps Coming for Burse

Although Alpharetta (Ga.) Alpharetta wide receiver Carlos Burse is not ready to make a decision, the future of his recruitment is starting to take shape. Now that he is out of school for the summer, the talented wide receiver is getting ready to visit multiple college campuses. There is no doubt that this is a very exciting time for Burse.

"I've been out of school since last Thursday," Carlos Burse said.

With his junior year in the rearview mirror, Burse is shifting his attention to his future as a football player and as a collegiate student-athlete. In his attempt to find the school that is the best fit for him, Burse will attend multiple camps in the coming months.

"I have the Nike camp on June 1st, Vandy on June 2nd, and Bama on June 3rd," Burse said.

As the date of Alabama's camp approaches, Burse is most excited about the possible outcome of the visit.

"If I perform good enough at their camp then Bama will offer," he said.

"I'm excited about maybe getting an offer from Bama," he added.

Despite the fact that he has numerous offers, the 6-foot-3, 204-pound receiver is not yet able to count any schools out.

"I don't have any leaders right now," he said.

Lately, Burse has been hearing from one school in particular.

"I've heard from Mississippi State recently," he said.

For Burse, the interest that the Bulldogs are showing him is very intriguing.

"Mississippi State is a nice school and I like what they are doing with their program," Burse said.

Another school that he hears from regularly is Alabama.

"Bama is pretty much the same. They are just the top of the line," he said.
