He's big and athletic.
But he couldn't participate over the weekend. Ryeshene Bronson (Ft. Myers, Fla./Dunbar) didn't play with his Dunbar teammates in USF's 7-on-7 Sling and Shoot over the weekend. He's nursing a hamstring injury. Instead of playing receiver and scoring touchdowns Bronson was just a spectator.
"It's just a little sore," Bronson said on Saturday. "I am hoping to get out there tomorrow."
Bronson, 6-foot-3 and 180-pounds, committed to the Gators on Thursday. He will give Florida a deep threat they are missing in Gainesville. Although Will Muschamp and the Florida fans will have to wait, as he's a member of the Class of 2014.
"I camped there and really like that coaching staff," Bronson said. "I love how they work. I really like the personalities up there. I think I will fit in nicely. I am a big, tall receiver that can get deep. I can really stretch the field. I can also take those short passes and make something happen."
As a sophomore Bronson caught 35 passes for 695 yards and scored five touchdowns.
