"I got Florida looking at me pretty heavily, they've been talking to me, they said they like me pretty well. Hopefully I'll ball this year and hopefully I'll get something out of it," Jenkins said.
"They say they like my physicality, every time I go to their camps they tell me, ‘good job, keep balling,' and just the basics."
Florida Defensive Backs Coach Travaris Robinson is Jenkins' main recruiter at Florida, and Jenkins loves the way T-Rob coaches.
"He's a very good coach, I like what he brings to the table. I like the techniques he teaches the DBs and the physicality they bring. I love it," he said.
The 6-foot, 200-pound linebacker's first offer came from Utah, and he has only good things to say about the program.
"They're pretty good, it's a very good school. I like what they bring to the table, I love it," he said.
At this point, Jenkins isn't thinking too much about his recruitment, he's eager to have a big junior season at GHS.
"Right now I'm just focused on the season," he said.
"I'm working on speed, technique, and when the ball is in the air, to attack the ball in the air and not wait for it to come down."
"(I want) seven interceptions, one hundred tackles again, five forced fumbles this year."
