Bailey Will Add Excitement to Florida Roster

Seffner Armwood athlete Alvin Bailey didn't surprise many when he officially committed to Florida. After Armwood's 55-0 thrashing of Brandon, a game moved one night later due to Hurricane Isaac, Bailey addressed his teammates about his future plans. The commitment was expected for the last couple of weeks after bailey left Gainesville with what he finally determined was a committable offer.

Alvin Bailey (5-11, 180) chose a stage that followed his typical assault on the end zone. He punched the ball in three times on the night scoring on two mid-range pass receptions and a 77 yard quarterback keeper from the ‘Wildcat' formation.

This is the norm for the play maker from central Florida who plays all over the place on offense.

Bailey is a true people person and a lot of his charm comes in including teammates and friends in his successes. According to the Orlando Sentinel, Saturday, he addressed his team first on his decision when he told them after the game, "I just wanted to tell you all that I will be attending the University of Florida."

It is the same in recruiting circles for Bailey who is a favorite of the biggest named prospects in the state, especially some of those that have committed to the University of Florida. On the social media site Twitter, many of Florida's commitments have shouted out words of encouragement for Bailey as he neared his decision and several made it quite clear they were excited about his decision while posting on twitter late Saturday night.

Bailey finished off the evening with a short and sweet tweet, "Proud To Be A Gator! Thank You Lord!. posted.
