"It was great coming down here to Florida again, I love being in Gainesville. As far as the game, both teams played great defense. Some bad plays were thrown into the mix, but it was a good game overall for both teams so I really enjoyed the game," he said.
The 6-foot-3, 275-pound offensive lineman made the trip with both his parents and was able to have some good conversations with the Florida coaches.
"They were glad to see me, glad I was able to come out here and they're hoping to see me here in the future."
"I was born in Baton Rouge, I've been in Louisiana my whole life, but I'm not afraid to leave home or anything like that," he said.
"I really like Florida a lot. It's a really great campus, people are polite, the staff is great. I'm not going to say I actually have a favorite, but Florida, it's up there."
Brumfield said Florida, Florida State, and LSU seem to stand out the most right now, but he is not in any hurry to make a decision.
"I plan on just taking the recruiting process slowly, I'll probably end up waiting until my senior year, take some officials, I'm not really sure as of right now," he said.
As far as other visits this season, Brumfield says he doesn't have any other long trips planned, but he'll probably catch a few LSU games since it's right in the backyard.
