Harris visits Florida

The Swamp was electric Sunday as Florida topped LSU in Gainesville and 2013 safety Marcell Harris was on hand to see it all. Get the latest on Harris' visit right here.

Florida has been in the hunt for the skills of Marcell Harris for quite some time and while Harris insists nothing has changed about where the Gators stand with him, he said his visit was great.

"It was a really good defensive game, there weren't that many points scored. I think (Florida safety) Matt Elam became one of key factors," Harris said.

"The fans were loud the whole game. It was a good game, the fans were just loud."

The 6-foot-1, 205-pound athlete of Dr. Phillips (Orlando, FL) said the Florida coaches were pretty busy before the game, but he was able to talk to Coach Mushchamp a little bit after the game.

"I really didn't get to talk to (the Florida coaches) that much because of how busy the day was until after the game, they were all just hyped about the win."

Harris' mother also made the trip and he said she had fun at the game too.

"I'm pretty sure she liked the visit, she enjoyed the win that Florida had and enjoyed going there and watching the game," he said.

Florida State will host Harris next week and for now, his fifth official visit is still a mystery. Before visiting Florida, Harris took official visits to both Texas and Oklahoma.
