Dixon takes in Florida

Junior wide receiver Johnnie Dixon visited Florida Saturday as the Gators welcomed LSU to the Swamp. Get the latest on Dixon's visit here.

Johnnie Dixon stepped into the Swamp decked out in Gator gear Saturday and watched as Florida topped LSU 14-6. He said enjoyed his time in Gainesville and it was especially fun to see his Dwyer (Palm Beach Gardens, FL) teammates, Florida safety Matt Elam and quarterback Jacoby Brissett.

"It was good, I got to see my teammates play today," Dixon said.

"Fans were really into it, so that was real good."

Dixon also spoke with Florida Head Coach Will Muschamp and Wide Receivers Coach Bush Hamdan.

"(They said) they're ready for me to be a Gator," he said.

"It's all up the air."

The 6-foot, 175-pound receiver standout has offers from several schools including Florida, Florida State, Alabama, Miami, Ohio State, and South Florida. He says right now he doesn't want to name any favorites.

"No one really stands anywhere right now," he said.

"I want to get up to Alabama and West Virginia. I'm probably going to Miami next weekend."

Dixon said at the earliest, a decision will come after his junior season.
