"It was a great game. They won," 2014 WR Demarre Kitt said of his visit to Athens. "It makes me excited for the college life."
The four-star junior at Sandy Creek High School (GA) has been committed to the University of Georgia since April.
"The atmosphere was crazy. 92,000 [fans]," Kitt said. "It's crazy that some of them recognize me now."
Kitt has spent time this fall building relationships with his future Bulldog teammates as well. "I'm the closest with Nick Glass [in the 2014 class]. We would play together no matter where we played.
"[UGA commits] all recruit for each other," Kitt explained. "We're building up a team."
Due to his arrival time in Athens last Saturday, Kitt was unable to speak with the coaching staff in depth. "I didn't get to talk to most of the coaches since I got there late," he said. "But I got to talk to Coach Richt. He was talking about how excited he was for the game [against Tennessee] and that he was glad to have me there.
"I talked to him on the field, which was cool," Kitt said.
With another year left in high school, the Sandy Creek star is aware of the collegiate offers that will come. "Clemson and USC will probably come around, and I'll look into them," he admitted. "But I'm not making any sudden moves. I'm happy."
This fall, Kitt will make one more unofficial visit to Oregon as the Ducks take on USC on November 3rd.
