Tunsil's reacts to SECCG

Laremy Tunsil has had Alabama and Georgia very high on his list for months and he watched them battle in the SEC Championship game Saturday. Get his reaction here.

Alabama defeated Georgia 32-28 in arguably the best college football game this season.

Many watched the game Saturday afternoon and one of them was five-star offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil.

Alabama and Georgia has set atop his list for months, so he had his eye on this one.

When asked what impressed him about Alabama's play Saturday, he quickly answered, "Everything."

The Tide gave up some big plays, they had a field goal blocked, and they had a crucial penalty on a play where they faked a punt successfully, but they still won the game.

The took the lead on a 45 yard pass from A.J. McCarron to Amari Cooper, but it was the play of the offensive line that stood out to most. The Crimson Tide finished with 350 yards on the ground.

Tunsil said, "The offensive line unit was a beast in that game."

Being an offensive lineman, he really liked the play of that quintet up front. He liked how the Dawgs played too though.

"Georgia had a good game and they really played good too."

The first school to send coaches down to see the top offensive tackle in America was UGA. John Lilly and Will Friend spent time with the Tunsil family Thursday night and that went well.

"We mainly talked about their team and their play this year. I really like Coach Friend and Coach Lilly. Both are great guys and Coach Friend is a country guy like me, so we get along really well."

In the end, it could come down to the Crimson Tide and Bulldogs for Tunsil. He will take other visits, but the play by Alabama's line was impressive Saturday and that really impressed Tunsil.

"The way that group played does help Alabama with me, but it is really even still between Alabama and Georgia right now," he said.

He has not set up an official visit yet with either school. Both want him on their campus close to Signing Day and both staffs are expected in Lake City, Fla. later this week to continue their recruitment of the no. 4 overall prospect in America.
