UA Preview: Black Team Offense

Many play-makers will be lining up for the Black Team at the 2013 Under Armour All-America game and we preview their entire offensive unit here.

The Scout300 is loaded with prospects on the Black Team's offense and we take a look at them by position here.

A trio of signal callers lead the Black Team offense and those guys are Alabama commitment Cooper Bateman, Fresno State commitment Zack Greenlee, and Penn State commitment Christian Heckenberg. Bateman and Hackenberg are both ranked in the top five at their position on Scout and Greenlee has had a very productive career in California as a three year starter.

Running Back

The quartet this team has at this position may be their best on either side of the ball. Two of the best out of Florida, Kelvin Taylor and Tarean Folston will be making plays, then Alvin Kamara from Georgia, and Dontre Wilson from Texas are two more of the best at this position in the country.

Taylor is a very powerful runner that is committed to Florida, Folston is a shift back that is uncommitted, Kamara has great speed and he is uncommitted, and Wilson has that second gear and he will fit right in at Oregon.

Wide Receiver/Tight End

Many times people will talk much more about the wide receivers than tight ends, but we will start with the top tight end in the country, O.J. Howard. He is committed to Alabama and he is going to give the Crimson Tide great size, a true athlete, and a big target that can stretch the field.

Joining him at tight end is Josh McNeil and he was originally committed to Alabama, but flipped to LSU the week before Christmas. McNeil is a strong four-star prospect. Adam Breneman is also on this team as a tight end, but the Penn State commitment will not plya due an injury earlier in the year.

At wide receiver, Pennsylvania's Robert Foster leads the way and he is the no. 5 ranked receiver on Scout. He has made a lot of big plays on offense and defense over his high school career.

Joining Foster at receiver are Florida commitment Alvin Bailey out of Florida, Jordan Cunningham out of Florida, Texas A&M commitment LaQuionte Gonzalez out of Texas, Oklahoma State commitment Ra'Shaad Samples out of Texas, and Washington commitment Damorea Stringfellow out of California.

Offensive Line

Lets start in the middle at center and the no. 1 center in the country Darius James leads the way here. He is the only true center on the roster, he is the best at his position, this Lone Star State prospect will suit up for the Longhorns in 2013.

At guard, Tyrone Crowder and Grant Hill are two of the best in America. Both are Scout100 prospects and both are nasty in the trenches. Crowder is out of North Carolina and he is uncomitted and Hill is out of Alabama and he is committed to the Crimson Tide.

A couple of the offensive tackles could get some play at guard in this game, but this is a very strong and talent group.

Notre Dame commitment Hunter Bivin is out of Kentucky, Denver Kirkland is out of Florida, Notre Dame commitment Colin McGovern is out of Illinois, LSU commitment Ethan Pocic is out of Illinois, and Oregon commitment Evan Voeller is out of Oregon. All five of those prospects are four-star linemen on Scout.

Special Teams

Sean Covington will stay in his home state to handle the kicking and punting duties for the Black Team before heading to play football at UCLA.

Tyler Kluver out of Iowa was travel down to the Sunshine State to be the long snapper.
