"It's been a great experience and been a lot of fun," said Goodman. "Getting to play with friends, it's different too without pads, you get to see and play against guys with pads, and that brings a whole new aspect."
For a physical safety like Goodman, he's enjoying the opportunity to hit.
"In practice, these guys are all of our teammates, so you've got to slow it down, but like any other practice, you play like other professionals do and we've been getting after it," said Goodman.
The four-star will shift his attention to recruiting when he returns from the Army Bowl, and while he's only taken one official visit, he's got four left, with two schools definite.
Goodman said he's without a leader, but a handful of schools are recruiting him the hardest.
"UCLA, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, LSU and a few other schools are in there and they're all recruiting me hard," said Goodman. "I'm not committed yet, so there is a good chance for every school."
Goodman said a decision isn't coming any time soon.
"I think most likely I am going to wait until Signing Day to decide," said Goodman.
