Head coach Will Muschamp and the rest of the Gator coaches have put together an outstanding class in terms of balance with only a few weeks remaining. The Gators currently have 26 commitments with 12 on offense and 14 on defense.
Coach Brent Pease will have a lot to work with from this class. Quarterback Max Staver, Running backs Adam Lane and Kelvin Taylor, Wide receivers Ahmad Fulwood, Demarcus Robinson, Alvin Bailey, Marqui Hawkins and Chris Thompson and offensive linemen Trenton Brown, Roderick Johnson, Octavius Jackson and Cameron Dillard make up the offensive class.

Newly named defensive coordinator D.J. Durkin will have even more to work with on the defensive side of the ball. Defensive linemen Caleb Brantley, Darious Cummings, Joey Ivie, Antonio Riles and Jordan Sherit, Linebackers Alex Anzalone, Matt Rolin, Daniel McMillan, James Hearns and Jarrad Davis, Safety prospects Marcell Harris, Keanu Neal, Nick Washington and Cornerback Vernon Hargreaves, III are all a part of the defensive class Will Muschamp is bringing in.

Three uncommitted players are scheduled to attend this weekend headlined by the top player in America, defensive end Robert Nkemdiche. Nkemdiche checks in from Loganville (GA) Grayson High School. He is a man among boys at 6'4 and 291-pounds. Ole Miss is thought to be the team to beat but will Nkemdiche "Shock the World" as some might suggest?
The fifth ranked fullback in the country will also be in town when 6'0 260-pound bruiser Kennard Swanson from Lakeland (FL) Lake Gibson High School. Florida, LSU, Mississippi, Ohio State, Pittsburgh, South Florida and West Virginia are just a few teams that have extended offers. If things check out this one could be over quickly.Four star defensive end Tashawn Bower is currently in the Atlanta airport waiting on his connecting flight to Gainesville by way of Somerville (NJ) Immaculata High School. Bower has offers from Auburn (Soft Verbal), Florida, LSU, Rutgers, Florida State, Maryland, Michigan and Notre Dame to name a few.
In addition to Nkemdiche, Swanson and Bower the Gators are also bringing in three currently committed recruits with offensive linemen Octavius Jackson, defensive end Antonio Riles and wide receiver Marqui Hawkins.
