Florida O-Lineman Thinking About Mizzou Visit

With signing day fast approaching, the Missouri Tigers are taking a look at potential prospects at the offensive line position, including a 3-start from the state of Florida who tells ShowMeMizzou.com about his Mizzou interest.

As Signing Day approaches, the Missouri Tigers have been busy out on the recruiting trail.   Last week, Missouri Assistant Coach Brian Jones paid a visit to 2013 OT prospect Trevon Young  6’5”  275  Bradenton (FL) Braden River.   ShowMeMizzou.com spoke with Young, and he talked about his Missouri interest, and he updated us on his recruitment.

“Missouri came to my basketball practice, and they offered me a football scholarship,”  said Young, who is planning to set up a visit to Missouri.   “I don’t really know when I’ll visit Missouri.  I’ll probably find out this week.”

Young also holds offers from FIU and FAU, among others.   He said that he may also visit one or more of the in state schools.  He also said that he’s not sure if he even wants to go out of state.

Young said that he doesn’t know what he’s going to do.   He said that he’s 50-50 on staying in state versus going out of state.

“I really don’t know yet,”  explained Young.   “It’s just a matter of me making my decision about what I want to do.”

With just two weekends remaining before signing day, it won’t be long before we’ll know if Young is going to visit Missouri.
