Kentucky lands WR

Cypress Bay wide receiver Alex Montgomery just committed to Kentucky.

The University of Kentucky just landed one of the Sunshine State's top wide receivers. Through twitter Weston (Fla.) Cypress Bay standout Alex Montgomery announced that he has committed to the Wildcats.

"I have made my decision and I am going to Kentucky," said Monday on his twitter feed.

Montgomery, 6-foot-1 and 195-pounds, is a three-star wide receiver that committed to Kentucky over Louisville and UCF. He had a terrific senior season, especially the post-season. Montgomery helped Cypress Bay to the state finals, where they lost a heartbreaker to Apopka 53-50. In that game he had nine receptions for 199-yards, three touchdowns and one two-point conversion. Two of his TD grabs were SportCenter highlights.
