Plant OL recaps USF Junior Day

Ray Raulerson is a talented offensive line prospect from Plant High in Tampa, and Scout caught up with him following his Junior Day experience at USF.

Ray Raulerson is one of the top offensive line prospects in the Tampa area for the 2014 class. He landed early offers from Boston College and Rutgers. And on Sunday, he added a third.

Raulerson was offered by the hometown Bulls during a Junior Day visit to the school earlier today. He talked about that experience.

"I got the tour basically of everything in the football facility, and I met with coach Taggert up in his office," Raulerson said. "He offered me and told me about the plans for the future of the program. He said he believes a national championship will be won at USF and that motivated me a lot."

Raulerson, 6-foot-5 and 275 pounds, said he had a chance to spend some time with all the USF coaches and he felt comfortable around them.

"I met all the coaches and they seemed real down to earth."

The standout lineman has a lot of interest in the Bulls now after the visit and the offer Sunday.

"I had a good time and look forward to going to some practices and all that. I really appreciated the offer and have a lot of interest in the program," he said.
