"Nebraska for sure," he said, "and UL really likes me. I went to LSU junior day and will go to UL's on March 16th. Nebraska came by the school; they heard good stuff and said my film is off the charts.
"They like my size. I'm at 245 pounds, but plan to bulk up to 260 by spring training and 265 by fall. It's far away but Nebraska has picked up Louisiana guys like (Trevell Dixon) from West Saint Mary. They've had good defensive linemen like (Ndamukong) Suh."
Thibodeaux talked about the in-state Tigers and Cajuns.
"Boy, I loved it at LSU," he said. "Their academic program is something to live for. They make sure you're a complete student-athlete. I love the atmosphere. I feel at home there.
"I like UL, too. They're in the running. They have an up-and-coming program and have won back-to-back bowl games."
Westgate got off to a slow start in 2012, dropping the first several games before rallying to win the last three.
"I'm proud of the run we put on at the end," Thibodeaux said. "People should expect big things next season."
