Florida is second for Brady

Tyre Brady picked up his first offer last week from Florida State and after a visit to Gainesville Friday, he picked up an offer from the Gators. Get the latest on the 2014 wide receiver right here.

Tyre Brady visited Florida with several of his close friends from Dade County – wide receiver Ermon Lane, linebacker Richard Yeargin III, and cornerbacks Quincy Wilson and Chris Lammons. Upon arrival, Brady was the only one of the group who didn't have an offer from the Gators, but by the end of his visit, he did.

"I was very excited. I liked everything about Florida. We got to tour the campus, watch them practice. I like the whole atmosphere, the coaches, the vibe, the way they run things. I liked everything," Brady said.

"I loved everything. I watched the one-on-one drills, the 7-on-7, I watched all of the drills and I loved it. I loved the way the run it."

The 6-foot-4, 205-pound wide receiver said he likes the opportunity he sees for himself with the Florida program and especially the Gators' need for dominant wide receivers.

"They said they needed more receivers, so they wanted me and Ermon Lane to come in. They want us to come in and work for a starting position."

The South Dade (Homestead, FL) standout won't be making a decision anytime soon, because his recruitment is really just getting going. Like his friends, he left Florida very impressed with the program.

"It's definitely in my top," he said.

Next, Brady plans to visit Florida State for the Seminoles' spring game. Stay tuned to FOX Sports NEXT for the latest.
