The American Heritage (Plantation, FL) standout had the chance to speak with many of the coaches at Florida and get a feel for how he'd fit in to the Gators' offense.
"Actually I had great conversations, I got to talk to coaches one-on-one, they were telling me how they can use me in their program," he said.
"They said they would use me in the offense in different types of ways, from the backfield, from out at receiver. That's what they did (at the practice), using the backs in different types of ways."
"I know. In my mind, I know where I'm going," Michel said.
"I'm ready to make the announcement."
The 5-foot-11, 205-pound running back doesn't plan to see any more campuses before announcing his decision, he has all the information he needs.
"My biggest factor is how comfortable I feel on campus. That's the most important part because I have to live there for four years," Michel said.
