"It's very exciting, Ohio State is a very good school. They produce receivers. One of my receivers coaches, Cris Carter, went to Ohio State, so it's a big plus. I like the offer, I think they have a lot to give. I can see it being one of my top choices by the time Signing Day approaches my senior year," Peete said.
"I can do better and get bigger and I'm still young, so I'm pretty sure they're very interested in me to give me an offer while I'm still young."
The 6-foot-5, 198-pound receiver also sees a lot of potential to make an impact in the West Virginia offense.
"West Virginia is a very good school. I could see myself playing at West Virginia because they produce good receivers. My family is excited about West Virginia, my little brothers like West Virginia and they're style of playing football," he said.
Peete has been a fan of Miami for quite some time and he camped there last summer. He plans to camp at Miami again this year along with several other places.
"My plans this summer, I want to go to Miami camp, Florida State, I'm going to try to get up to Alabama. I'm going to talk to coaches at Ohio State and West Virginia to see if I can get up for camp this summer," he said.
"As of right now my favorite schools are Miami, Florida State, and Florida, but I have a lot more time and I'll have a lot more options."
The St. Thomas Aquinas standout knows he can offer a lot but he is very dedicated to getting better every day. His constant desire to get better will help him choose a program that will challenge him to grow and help him do exactly that.
"I can bring size of course, blocking, I can get up and down the field, and just being a team leader," he said.
"I'm gong to be looking for a good receiver corps, quarterback, offensive coordinator, defensive coordinator, someone that can work me everyday."
