On Friday, 2014 OT prospect Paul Adams 6’6” 270 Nashville (TN) Christ Presbyterian Academy celebrated his 18th birthday with a verbal commitment to play football at Missouri. Afterwards, he spoke to ShowMeMizzou.com, and he talked about his decision to become a Missouri Tiger.
“After school (on Friday), I sat down and talked with my parents and (CPA) Coach Martin,” explained Adams, talking about how he finalized his decision to commit to Missouri. “And, we made it official that I was going to commit to Missouri that night………………………………………… So later on Friday, I called Coach Henson to tell him that I wanted to be a Missouri Tiger!”
“I thought it was the right time for me,” said Adams, who had been leaning toward a Missouri commitment for almost a month.
“I feel very comfortable (at Missouri),” said Adams. “I feel very comfortable around the coaching staff, the players, and most importantly, when I went around the campus, I really felt comfortable. I was really looking into the business school, and I really fell in love with it. I really felt that Missouri is just a great place! And when I brought my mom up there, she looked around. She loved the football part, but she really cared about the academics. She said that she just loved the place to death!”
Adams said that he’s done with recruiting.
“I’m 100% a (Missouri) Tiger,” said Adams.
Adams also said that he and his very good friend, 2014 Missouri WR commit, Thomas Richard, will likely visit Missouri again during one of the Tigers’ upcoming camps.
