"Now I'm just trying to wait it out, just go a long with the process," he said.
"It's kind of a harder decision to make, so I have to make sure I see every place and I'll probably take my official visits."
The 5-foot-9, 173-pound athlete has no leaders right now and plans to take a lot of trips this summer to get a better feel for the programs. Alabama, South Carolina, Tennessee, and more are on the visit list.
"I'll probably rule some out (after summer)," he said.
"(I'm looking for) just a place where I feel comfortable and it feels like a family with a good education."
Lammons said it seems like Florida and South Carolina are recruiting him the hardest right now. At Florida, he mostly talks to DBs Coach Travaris Robinson.
"He's my main guy at Florida, our relationship is pretty good. He coached Marcus Roberson, who is my god brother. The relationship there is good," Lammons said.
Secondary Coach Grady Brown is Lammons' main recruiter for the Gamecocks. Brown stopped by Lammons' spring game earlier this week.
"We've built a very strong relationship, outside of football. Just a relationship talking about growing up, family, things like that," he said.
