Wilbekin suspended indefinitely

Gators senior point guard Scottie Wilbekin is now facing his second suspension from the basketball team in as many years. The All-SEC defensive player sat out the first few games in the 2012-2013 season after a suspension and the team released a statement via twitter that he is suspended currently and indefinitely.

Scottie Wilbekin is expected to be counted on a lot with the loss of guards Kenny Boynton and Mike Rosario. How much of the season or if any of the season he will miss is still in question given the statement released by the Florida program on Twitter.

"Scottie Wilbekin has been suspended indefinitely (violation of team rules," the statement read.

Florida also lost transfer point guard Braxton Ogbueze last month, but will be bringing in hot prospect Kasey Hill. Again, it is unclear how much time or if any time during the season will be missed by Wilbekin.
