"It was the first time my mom was down there with me, and it was the first time I saw the whole Yum Center, but I pretty much I had seen everything else," said Lyle of the visit. "We just walked around campus, saw the dorms, and overall it was just a great visit."
For Lyle he was happy his mom got to see the campus so she would have an idea of what it is like, and she could feel more comfortable with the school.
"That was real good," Lyle explained of his mom being on the visit. "It was her first time visiting Louisville and that went real well. She was there for the home visit with Coach (Rick) Pitino, so she knew a lot about the school and she just wanted to see it. Overall it was great."
One place thing that Louisville already has, is Lyle is very familiar with many of the players already on campus. In fact over the weekend several he was able to build a relationship with other players who are already on campus.
"I am cool with Chris (Jones) and Russ (Smith), and over the weekend I built a relationship with Anton (Gill) and Terry (Rozier) so that was good, and of course I am cool with Quentin (Snider)," explained Lyle. "It would be cool to come in and play around people that you know."
With a list of seven including Louisville, Indiana, Illinois, UCLA, Tennessee, Florida, and Ohio State, he has a focused group of schools that he is looking at. With that places like Ohio State and Florida have recently taken guard commitments, but Lyle says that isn't something that bothers him.
"A lot of schools tell me that I can be a combo who plays the one or two," said Lyle. "It won't play a role in my decision. I am a big guard I can play the one, two, or maybe if I grow the three, so that doesn't impact me."
For now the plan is still for Lyle to take all of his official visits and then decide after those take place. He insists he is in no hurry to make a commitment.
