CeCe Jefferson very well might be the top defensive tackle in the Sunshine state for the class of 2015. Jefferson checks in from Glen Saint Mary (FL) Baker County Senior High School and went in depth with FightinGators.com about his overall experience.
"I had a great time in the Swamp as usual. The camp was real fun and there was great competition out there and the coaching staff showed my love as usual. Coach Lawing showed me a bunch of new techniques and things that I am looking forward to using this fall that will help me out a lot. Coach Muschamp talked to me a bunch out there on the field and told me to keep Florida in my thoughts when I am thinking about my commitment and recruitment."
For the 6'3 270-pound defensive standout it was a familiar feeling this weekend and one he still has a hard time getting used to.
"The feeling I get when I am walking to the stadium is unreal. I always get shivers running down my spine when I get there and Florida definitely feels like home. They are definitely one of my top schools for sure and plus its only 45 minutes from my home town and my family can come see me play and come check on me whenever they get ready. The feeling is great."
Jefferson breaks down his love of the game.
"For the people who have not watched me play I would describe myself as a hustler. I never give up on plays and I have a motor and I am willing to throw my body on the line in order for my teammates to win the game. I can play any position or anything that is asked of me and I might mess it up but I will do it until I get it right."
CeCe Jefferson knows he is blessed to be in this position so early in the game.
"I never thought of my recruitment taking off like this so early but it's a blessing and I owe it all to God and its definitely something to talk about. I plan to return to Florida again for Friday Night Light's and coming up I have on the 22nd-26th I have UCLA, USC and Stanford."
