"You know I have been looking at some schools and seeing about setting up my official visits," said Thomas. "I have sent some facebook messages to (one school) about setting up my visit, but they haven't gotten back with me about it.
"I can see on facebook that they are reading it and they are posting other things on facebook, so they should be able to answer me.
"That kind of stuff makes me feel like I am not important to them or that they aren't as interested in me as some of the other schools."
Thomas reports that a pair of SEC programs are making him feel like a priority to them.
"You know Mississippi State takes my call every time I call," said Thomas. "I could call them right now and they would talk to me.
"I called Coach (David) Turner one time and they were in a meeting.
"He told Coach (Dan) Mullen that it was Cory on the phone and Coach Mullen told him he needed to take my call.
"He left the meeting and we talked for a good thirty minutes.
"That makes me feel good, because they always have time for me and they always want to talk to me.
"It's sort of like that with Tennessee too. When I call up there, they are excited to talk to me.
"When I get on the phone with one of them, they just pass me around and I get to talk to the whole coaching staff.
"They make me feel like they all want me to come up there and that they have time for me.
"I know everybody is practicing now, so that means a lot to me."
Thomas has talked about making his decision during the summer months, but for now things are in a holding pattern.
"I know I want to take my officials before I make a decision," said Thomas. "I want to take my visits during the season, so I can make my decision before the end of the year.
"I am just not sure when I am going to be ready to decide, but I am watching all of these schools to see who really wants me and who has time for me."
