Schools evaluate Ali

Prince Ali, a top 100 shooting guard in the 2015 class, has had a host of schools evaluate him the past two weeks.

College coaches have filed through Weston (Fla.) Sagemont School to evaluate 2015 shooting guard Prince Ali.

According to Sagemont School coach Adam Ross, Nebraska, Vanderbilt, Florida, LSU, South Florida and Georgia watched him last week. UCLA and Rutgers are expected to evaluate him on Tuesday.

"He's keeping us busy," Ross told "He's had a bunch of guys coming through."

To date, Ali, who has only visited Miami unofficially, has scholarship offers from Connecticut, Illinois, Nebraska and Georgia.

"It's still early," Ross said. "He'd like to maybe go see some places unofficially at first. It's still very early. He's still getting a sense of who is interest and who is keeping him warm."

Ali, a 6-foot-3, 180-pound guard, impressed with his play this spring and summer and finished in the post-July rankings at No. 80 overall in the 2015 class.

"Prince is doing great," he said. "Prince is an explosive athlete. He's a tremendous athlete and he's a 2015 so he has a little more time."
