More often than not lately the Florida men's basketball team has played the season with a limited roster. When all are finally healthy this year, the roster should have a full contingent of 13. Some will be making their season debuts this season. Guard Eli Carter, a transfer from Rutgers, stepped into the SEC and weighs in on his transition. Dorian Finney-Smith and Damontre Harris talk as well.
Gators Junior guard Eli Carter chose Florida
over other schools including Maryland. Carter played in 24 games at Rutgers in his sophomore season after suffering a leg injury and riding the bench the rest of the season. Carter led Rutgers in scoring and was ranked 12th in the BIG EAST.
Redshirt sophomore forward Dorian Finney-Smith sat out last year as a Gator, after transferring from Virginia Tech his freshman year.
Redshirt junior Damontre Harris also sat our last year at Florida after transferring from South Carolina. Harris was on the SEC All-Defensive team as a sophomore with the Gamecocks in the 2011-2012 season.
