Bryan expects Gators back fast

One of the biggest surprise commitments in the 2014 recruiting class says he thinks the Florida Gators woes from the 2013 season are just a one season hiatus from the norm and expects the Gators to get back on track quickly. The 6-foot-5, 250 pound lineman from Casper (Wy.) Natrona County HS is excited to be a part of getting back on track.

On a team that went 9-4 and lost every game by just one point, Taven Bryan understands a little bit about frustration. That is why with all the injuries that Florida has endured this season, he knows the Gators will be back and do it soon.

"I feel that the Gators will always rebound as a superior team," Bryan said Monday. "Partially to the fact they recruit the best, and get the best coaches. No matter how many people get hurt the Gators will rebound."

Bryan is a part of a line class that Florida considers a huge need. Florida head coach Will Muschamp calls the Southeastern Conference a line of scrimmage league and the Gators lack numbers on both sides at the moment. Bryan says he sees himself playing on the edge right now and a guy that knows he will have a lot to learn when he shows up on campus.

"I see myself as a defensive end," he said. "My first year I expect to master the defensive schemes at Florida."
