Sources: Two coaches let go

Sources have informed FightinGators.com that offensive coordinator Brent Pease and offensive line coach Tim Davis have been released from their duties on the Florida staff. The two were hired in 2012 when Charlie Weis and Frank Verducci decided to pursue other interests.

With Brent Pease out, Florida will face another season with a new offensive coordinator. It will be the fourth coordinator in five seasons and the third in Will Muschamp's short tenure at Florida.

Florida has finished worse than 100th nationally in total offense in Muschamp's three years and the need for a quality coach to come in and succeed immediately Is paramount.

We expect the information to be released officially today and there is a team meeting called at 2:30 to discuss with the players.
