Florida point guard Scottie Wilbekin returned to practice on Saturday and will play on Tuesday against No. 6 Kansas. Freshman point guard Kasey Hill, who started the first four games of the season while Wilbekin served his suspension, is more in doubt, Florida announced this weekend.
Scottie Wilbekin rolled his ankle with three minutes left on Monday at Connecticut. The senior hobbled to the bench before heading to the locker room and not returning. Florida announced after the game that Wilbekin left the arena without crutches of a boot, and his injury was announced as a high ankle sprain on Tuesday.
It's the same injury that Kasey Hill is dealing with. Hill suffered his high ankle sprain on November 18 and remains in doubt for Tuesday's matchup with Kansas. Florida announced that Hill went through non-contact work this weekend but spent most of practice time in the training room.
Kansas makes the trek to Gainesville after losing at Colorado on Saturday on a buzzer-beating three-point shot.
