Gators Set to Host 10

Head coach Will Muschamp and the rest of the Florida Gator coaching staff received big news recently when four start defensive tackle Thomas Holley announced his intentions to join the Gator Nation. Holley makes No 20 for coach Muschamp but the class isn't finished just yet.

While the Florida Gator coaching staff was extremely excited about landing Thomas Holley they understand their work is not done just yet for 2014. Will Muschamp has now secured 20 verbal commitments for the class of 2014 and is looking for a few more to round out the class.

The Gator coaching staff will bring in three committed players this weekend, two of which have committed elsewhere and five who have yet to make a public decision. Four of the players are defensive players, one athlete and five offensive players will be in town this weekend to spend time with the staff.

Three of the ten are currently committed to the Gators with Moral Stephens, J.C. Jackson and Khairi Clark.

Khairi Clark is a four star defensive tackle from Hollywood (Fla) Chaminade Madonna College Prep school. He is the No 5 ranked defensive tackle prospect in the country. Clark is 6-foot-2, 320-pounds.

J.C. Jackson is a four star corner back prospect from Immokalee (Fla) and is currently the No 14 corner according to Scout.com. He checks in at 5-foot-11, 185-pounds and could play on either side of the ball.

Moral Stephens is 6-foot-3, 220-pounds and is from Perry (Fla) Taylor County high school. He is a three star player and No 42 tight end prospect.

Rocel McWilliams is a three star defensive end prospect from Pensacola (Fla) West Florida high school who is currently committed to Missouri. he is the No 79 defensive end in the class of 2014.

Treon Harris is a big time play maker from Miami (Fla) Booker T. Washington high school. He is four star corner according to Scout.com but will get a chance at the quarterback position if he ends up a Gator. He is 5-foot-11, 175-pounds and currently is a Florida State verbal commitment.

Deiondre Porter is currently ranked as a safety prospect but is being recruited by the Florida coaching staff as an athlete. He is 6-foot-1, 185-pounds out of Tampa (Fla) Jefferson Senior high school.

Isaiah McKenzie is lightning in a bottle. The 5-foot-8, 165-pound running back is a threat to take it the distance each time he touches the ball. McKenzie is from Plantation (Fla) American Heritage school. He is the No 39 ranked running back prospect in the class of 2014.

Running back Derrell Scott checks in at No 17 at his position and has numerous offers from some of the top teams in the country. The 5-foot-11,185-pound back is from Havelock (NC) and is a four star player.

Jordan Sims is a 6-foot-3, 350-pound offensive guard from Homewood (AL) and is the No 29 guard prospect for this year's class. Sims has plenty of offers but could come down to Florida and Ole Miss at the end of the day.

Yodny Cajuste is a defensive end/offensive tackle prospect from the Sunshine state. The 6-foot-6, 270-pound standout checks in from Miramar (Fla) It could come down to West Virginia or Florida.
