Bello fell in love

One of the latest offers in the 2015 class for the Florida Gators is Montverde (Fla.) Montverde Academy offensive tackle Abdul Bello. Bello, who measured in at 6-foot-6 and 295 pounds, visited Florida for the Junior Day scheduled Saturday and loved the trip. Bello is a monster on the field and is attracting offers at a rapid clip now and the Gators would love to add him this year.

Abdul Bello is just starting to get into the recruiting thing. He attended the Florida-Florida State game in Gainesville, but this is his first real time in an all recruiting atmosphere.

"It was fun, I fell in love with the school and the coaches," Bello said by phone on his way home. "Everyone is fine."

Bello transferred to Montverde in August all the way from Nigeria in Africa. He is still getting accustomed to the game and what college means, and football. He got a full dose of meeting the staff again on Saturday with head coach Will Muschamp, offensive line coach Mike Summers, and strength coach Jeff Dillman.

"I talked with Coach Summers, Coach Muschamp, and the strength coach," Bello said. "Coach Summers liked my film, he showed me some offensive line drills and plays. He said he likes the way I move and on film how I finish plays."

Coach Walter Banks is the offensive coordinator at Montverde and tripped with bello this weekend. Banks offered a little more insight.

"He liked the weight room and the school itself," the coach said. "From all of the academic stuff, that really impressed him.

"Coach Muschamp talked to him about how he wanted him to be a Gator. They liked his film and explained to him that he and I have a great relationship and he would want to be with someone that he knows. Marcell Harris spent some time with us today. He told him he wanted to be with somebody he was close with."

Stay tuned to as we continue to cover the recruitment of this fast rising star.
