Huge Junior Day for offense

The Florida Gators will be hosting yet another Junior Day for the 2015 class. This time it seems the emphasis will be on offense and especially at receiver and along the line of scrimmage. With nearly a year left until signing day for this class, it is important for Florida to get the best talent on campus as much as possible. Here is a look at some at some that we expect to make it this weekend.

There is a huge 7on7 tournament going on this weekend in Florida, but the Gators should manage to get some quality athletes to attend. At the quarterback position, a couple of real dual threat prospects in Lamar Jackson of Boynton Beach (Fla.) and Christian Alexander of Lakeland (Fla.) Lakeland Christian Academy should be in attendance.

Jackson was recently offered by Georgia and is just what Florida is looking for in their new offensive scheme and as they look to sign a quarterback in the 2015 class. Alexander has been to Florida a few times and has impressed the staff at camp as well. He has yet to make an impression on new offensive coordinator Kurt Roper, but this weekend could go a long way in doing that.

A couple of lesser heralded running backs should be in attendance. Markeis Hallback of Moore Haven (Fla.) and Jurell Green of Oveido (Fla.) are expected in. Both have speed and decent size at the position.

The receiver position should be well represented and led by five-star Tennessee commitment Preston Williams of Lovejoy (Ga.). Four-star Willie Hibbler of North Panola (Miss.) is committed to Ole Miss, but also expected to make the trip. Derrick Dillon of Franklinton (La.) Pine HS is a 3-star jitterbug of a receiver that has Florida offer. Florida would love to land any of these three.

In-state, Tristan Payton of Jacksonville (Fla.) First Coast and Auden Tate of Tampa (Fla.) Wharton are two big receiver prospects expected to attend.

The offensive line will be a huge need position again for the Gators. Expecting to take five linemen in the class, the Gators have a nice group of linemen expected on campus this weekend.

Christian Pellage of Brooksville (Fla.) Nature Coast Tech is one of the more high profile prospects in the state and is expected in. Tyler Jordan of Jacksonville (Fla.) Bishop Kenny just visited the school on Monday and will be back. Jordan's stock is sky rocketing lately earning offers seemingly every day for the entire month of February. Jake Fruhmorgen of Tampa (Fla.) Plant should visit and is one of the more highly touted players in the state of Florida as well.

A pair of big offensive line prospects from Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy in Mirko Jurkovic and Tyree St. Louis are expected to make the trip north to Gainesville. William Sweet of Jacksonvillec(Fla.) First Coast The numbers from what we know right now are scarce on defense, bvut 5-star defensive end CeCe Jefferson of Macclenny (Fla.) Baker County has been saying he might make it up for the weekend. He has been to Florida a lot.

Tevon Coney of Palm Beach Gardens (Fla.) is still trying to make the trip to Florida, but the 3-star middle linebacker's visit is also not set in stone.
