Video: Jordan a man among boys

Sometimes college football staff offer prospects based on future ability and the very best show they can play at a high level right now. Jacksonville (Fla.) Bishop Kenny offensive lineman Tyler Jordan received a landslide of college offers in January and February and the 6-foot-4.5 inch lineman shows you exactly why with his junior season highlight footage.

Tyler Jordan is impressive on film for several reasons, and one of the biggest is that he stays low during the game. Play after play in this highlight you see that he moves around with a wide base and lower than the man in front of him so that when he strikes he can strike with force.

The other thing that really stands out to me is that he doesn't quit on the play. If he knocks his man down, he constantly looks for the next guy to knock to the ground. That is a rare trait in high school football.

The only thing keeping Jordan from being a prototype interior lineman for the college game is some added weight and muscle, but still a high school junior, he should expect to gain close to 25-30 pounds before heading off to college.

The Florida seems to have gotten a good one with Jordan and you can see for yourself with his junior highlights.
