Gators end regular season at No. 1

Florida was at the top of the Associated Press Poll and Coaches' Poll that were released on Monday.

This marks the first time in school history Florida has ended the regular season at No. 1.

The Gators stayed at the top following two blowout wins. It started with a 72-46 win at South Carolina last Tuesday, punctuated by 37 points from Michael Frazier and a school-record 11 three-pointers made.

Florida returned home for senior day and finished an 84-65 blowout of Kentucky. The Gators' seniors totaled 51 of the team's 84 points and helped jumpstart a second-half run that put the Wildcats out of reach for good, completing an 18-0 record in SEC play for the first time in league history.

With the SEC Tournament beginning on Wednesday, the Gators have a bye until Friday at 1 p.m. Florida will play the winner of Missouri-Texas A&M.
