McCloud wants a summer decision.

Tampa (Fla.) Sickles running back / athlete Ray Ray McCloud is ready to improve on a 2013 season that saw him rush for more than 2,300 yards. It seems like a Herculean task, but the confident McCloud likes what his team brings to the table in 2014 and wants to leave on a high note with this being his senior season. He also would like to end the recruiting process before the season kicks off.

On his way to practice on Tuesday, Ray Ray McCloud was ready to get things started.

"I think we are going to do great with the players we have coming in," he said about his team. "Some young players will step up and some older players that know what they were doing from being in big games. I just want to do better than last year."

On Tuesday alone, McCloud had college coaches from Notre Dame, Michigan Arkansas, Western Kentucky, and Wisconsin visit. He is a huge prospect and he likes the process.

"It's going great I am taking it day by day," he said about all the attention and time. "I'm just processing it and taking my time with it."

Florida is a school that McCloud is keenly interested in. He has visited a couple of times in the last two months and he believes the Gators have the things he is looking for.

"It is a great school and I love the coaches there," he said. "I think at the end of the day it will be one the final schools. If I choose it, it would be great for me."

Like a lot of big time prospects this year that are high on the Gators, there is a wait and see stance about the whole program and what is in store for it.

"I want to see how they do this year," he said of the Gators.

At the same time, McCloud would like to get the recruiting process over and work on his senior season.

"I hope to get it done by summer time, but I am not going to rush it," he said before saying what that decision will be about. "My decision will come from the heart."
